The last layout in the Amethyst series is done! Scrapbooksteals.com is offering up a fantastic prize from My Mind's Eye for the winner. I used one of my favorite pictures of Archie for this LO. I haven't done the journaling yet b/c I haven't found the right words, but I have to get this posted before my eye surgery tomorrow so it is being posted unfinished.

I am going to start trying to include items used in my layouts, but a lot are scraps that I have no clue as to their company or product line. Here is what I used in the LO that I know of:

The Paper Girls Challenge Blog #6

This one is a first for me as I just ran across this blog recently. Twice/month The Paper Girls Challenge Blog features a challenge based off a sketch, a photo inspiration, a recipe challenge, etc... This challenge was based off a really neat photo they found on Pinterest. The colors screamed for me to use Authentique Blissful, but as I started the layout just took a different direction. I personally love it!

Amethyst #9

Here is my layout based off the sketch on Scrapbooksteals.com this week. I loved this sketch as it allowed me to feature a lot of photos that I probably would not have scrapbooked otherwise. I love looking out my backdoor at Pike's Peak, the beautiful sky, and crazy weather changes we have here. I often take pictures b/c I am constantly in awe of what I see. Here is my page based on many of those photos.

Authentique April 2012 Layout Challenge - Card

Here is my take on the Authentique card layout for April 2012. I love the way this card turned out even though I rarely work with pinks.

Amethyst #8 - Wander in Wonder

For Scrapbooksteals.com Amethyst #8 I used Echo Park's For The Record collection. I am loving the colors in these papers! The photo is one that Natalie Z. snapped of me when we were at Central Park in NYC back in the summer of '02 I think. This layout is becoming one of my favorites.

This week scrapbooksteals.com featured two layouts and I chose the first one. I used the City Park collection from American Crafts. I don't usually use bold, bright colors, but I think I could start after this layout.
