Introducing the reason I have been absent these past months.....

Being pregnant and chasing after my boys left me little time or desire to scrapbook these last few months. I still have little time, but the desire is coming back! Two months ago we welcomed a beautiful little girl into our family and above is my first scrapbook page of her. I used primarily My Mind's Eye products since I have those is abundance. I am so excited to start using all the girly paper that I have accumulated over the past few years! My crafty posts will probably be few and far between but I am still here and still crafting when I am able.

Scrapbooksteals.com MWM Amber #2

I'm getting this one in just under the wire again. The layout for Scrapbooksteals.com Amber #2 inspired me to finally fiddle around with the Silhouette Cameo that Dave got me for Christmas. Can I just say how absolutely awesome this machine is? I was able to see to fruition an idea I've had for awhile that I have unsuccessfully tried to create. I love this layout so much and cannot wait to keep on creating with my Cameo.

My Mind's Eye December challenge #2

The second December challenge from My Mind's Eye was a sketch challenge. I decided to use the Kraft Funday collection and it just came together easy peasy. I've said it before, but working with My Mind's Eye just makes pages come together so logically and easily. I love their collections! Here is my take on the sketch provided.

Scrapbooksteals.com Jade #3

This is probably the quickest turnaround I've had on a Scrapbooksteals.com Mid-Week Mojo sketch. I wanted to get it done before the craziness of Christmas week settled in. I really wanted to get 4 photos on the page so I modified the sketch a bit, but overall it was a great one to work with. I also used papers from lots of different collections which a lot of fun to do. Here is my take on Jade #3.

My Mind's Eye Dec. challenge and Jade #1b

My Mind's Eye December Challenge - The December challenge was to scrap your wish list. Since my husband already fulfilled my scrapping wish list (a Silhouette Cameo!!!), I decided to wish for something less tangible but much more significant. Both my husband and I are lucky enough to have parents that have both been married for 42 years. They have happy, fulfilled lives and are such great role models for what a marriage should be. I wish to have just has many happy years as they have had and are continuing to have.

Scrapbooksteals.com Jade #1b - The layouts for Jade #1 were pretty similar and I drew inspiration from both, but focused primarily on #1b. It was the perfect sketch for this layout of my lovely parents.
