My Mind's Eye July Challenge

The first July challenge from My Mind's Eye is all about a monochromatic color scheme. I started going through my stack of MME paper and I really wanted to use the brown polka dots paper from the Stella & Rose collection. From there everything just came together. I cannot believe how many different collections from MME I used on this layout and I personally think it came together fantastically.

The sample page from the MME blog was about a picture of a dog. That just planted dogs into my brain so I too did a page about my dogs. They may drive me crazy more often than not, but we've had these beautiful, tenacious, loyal dogs for approaching 5 years now and I wouldn't trade them for anything. Without further ado here is my take on the monochromatic layout challenge from My Mind's Eye.

Items used in this layout:
  • MME Lost & Found Two Sunshine paper
  • MME Stella & Rose Hattie "Happy" polka dots paper
  • MME Lost & Found Union Square "Home Sweet Home" collage paper
  • MME Lime Twist Fly A Kite "Genuine" title
  • MME Follow Your Heart twine
  • MME Life Stories "Pet Information" journaling card
  • MME Wild Asparagus "Boy Oh Boy" swirl
  • MME Indie Chic garland
  • Fancy Pants Summer's End button and stickers
